so I've been hard at work on the next trip to Greece. Right now it looks like the dates will be around May 21 - June 8th. The original plan was to fly to athens, then on to Crete and spend 5 days there, fly to rhodes for 3 days, ferry to Kos for a couple days, ferry to Patmos for a day, then on to Samos for a couple days and take a trip over to Turkey for a tour of Ephesis. From there we'd fly back to Athens for a couple days and fly home. Everything may have just changed as I found tickets from KC to Istanbul for 950 dollars, which is 600 less than tickets to Athens. that would basically save us 1200 bucks. What do you think? So the new plan may be as follows.
day 1 fly to Europe
day 2 arrive in Istanbul, fly to Samos
day 3 Samos - Ephesis
day 4 boat to Patmos
day 5 boat to Kos
day 6 kos
day 7 kos/nisseryos
day 8 boat to rhodes
day 9 rhodes
day 10 rhodes
day 11 fly to Crete/Chania
day 12 Chania
Day 13 Lissos
Day 14 Lissos
Day 15 Rhythnon
day 16 fly to Athens
Day 17 Athens
Day 18 fly back to Turkey/Home
Thats saving us 1200 bucks on plane tickets and putting us on 5 different greek islands in 18 days.
We'll see if that holds up or not. More details, including hotels we'll be staying at soon.
