So the whole Nissos Kalymnos saga continues as I try to figure out among 12 islands which to visit. Many people think in 2 weeks that's enough for one island. Many people also put mayonaise on their turkey sandwiches. So at the present moment, it looks like the Crete part of the trip is set in stone, the plane tickets to Rhodes are very cheap, so off we go to Rhodes for 3 days, then a short ferry to Symi, for a day, then another ferry to KOS for 3 days, a short ferry to Leros for a day, fly to Athens for 2 days on to home. We skip a bunch of things I wanted to do by doing this, but that's just the way it is I guess. the 7 days on Crete will be the bomb though, oh yes.

May 13 Fly
May 14 arrive in Athens, fly to Crete, drive to Rhethymnon
May 15 Rhethymnon in the AM, drive to Aptera, then Chania
May 16 Chania all day
May 17 Balos Lagoon, Polyrinnia, Falasarna, Vouves
May 18 Elafonisa, Sougia, Lissos
May 19 boat to Agia Rourneli, Samarian Gorge
May 20 Omalos, Ideon Antron, Zominthos, Heraklion
May 21 Heraklion Museum, Malia Palace, fly to Rhodes
May 22 Rhodes West Coast
May 23 Rhodes East Coast
May 24 Boat to Symi
May 25 Boat to Kos
May 26 Kos all day
May 27 Boat to Leros
May 28 Fly to Athens
May 29 Athens
May 30 Fly home
