lots has happened since last time so lets catch you up.
firstly, the trip to the SW is set for the first 10 days of April. I'm hoping it's great. Part of me is a pessimist, but that's just my nature. i have lots of things planned and we'll be driving thousands of miles to see native american cities and a giant hole in the ground. there will be hiking. a crater, petrified forest, more hiking, terrible mexican food and margaritas, oh yes there will be.
so there's that.
then, JW went to europe last year to recruite and the plan is for her to do the same things this year as well, with a 5 day block between china and france, and ending in Turkey, we've decided to spend those 5 days on Crete! and then 3 more days on Turkey! wow, how cool. since most of JWs trip is covered by work, we only have to pay for my plan ticket and hotels on Crete, so most of the trip will be set. I've been looking at tickets and we could be in our future home of Chania in December! how exciting.
It's a very long way away, but you know, fingers crossed it happens.
