countdown 9 days til we leave, packing and buying things we need, i had some medical appointments to take care of, the knees are so much better, though we'll probably still not hike as much as we wanted to. my friend George from the Porto is looking forward to the visit, though it now seems he's working for the Parks department and will actually be at the Samaria the day we are doing the lazy hike up from the bottom. he's says he's at the 7 km mark, which may be too far for us to reach (14 km round trip), but we'll get there and see just whats what. every day my knees are a little better so i'm hoping in 9 they are closer.
in other news, there is a laundry mat a few blocks from our hotel in Ioannina, we may have to have our first laundrimat experience in greece, if we do all the clothes or just some, we'll definitely need do them around that last day there or the first day in corfu.
