we both woke up in our haunted hotel and took a walk down the street to ghost coffee or something which was terrible, but in the middle of the night it had gotten cold, like 40 degrees cold, and we were not exactly prepared. at 9 am we had a tour of the Terpentine Creek Cat Rescue and it was gonna be a doozy.
we took our terrible coffee back to the room where our car was waiting outside, and packed up our shit and said goodbye to Eureka Springs, we hardly knew ya.
the 10 minute drive to Terpentine went quick and there were plenty of cats outside in the holding area before the tour, including a white tiger and a bobcat. the tour lasted less than an hour and we drove around looking at the rescured cats and heard the story of how they were obtained, including a few from Joe Exotic himself the TIGERKING.
We then took the very scenic northern arkansas route to highway 49 and before we knew it, we were pulling in the driveway. vacation over.
