Day 1 & 2, the long Day and Night

Wedesday morning couldn't come too soon, and then when it came suddenly we wanted it to slowdown, wich of course didnt happen.  we drove to the airport in a torrential downpour with lightening striking all around and we thought there was the potential for delay, but the sky cleared up and all was fine by 3:30 and we started the lingest day that was actually 2 days rolled into one, touchdown in Minneapolis on time and had a few beers then the long haul to Amsterdam, again, on time, a few movies, some bad airplane food, then a swtchover, a new hat, and before you know it we're in Athens, and the clock rushes forward then we're touching down in Crete, getting our rental, takinng the wrongturn off the bat, encountering road construction, a full moon, arriving in Agios Nickolas on the wrong road, and stillgetting right to thehotel, which ispretty, walkimg to Paradosiako, having an amazing dinner, then following the full moon back to the hotel and in bed by 11 pm  Crete time, or 3pm KCMO.
