day 14 and then there was MILOS

we got up early and ate some lovely breakfast and then headed down to the port to catch the short tiny boat to Milos.  It was over before we knew it and walked down the pier to our hotel, Portiani, very close to the port.  It was a lovely hotel, and we spent some time walking around the town before realizing there wasn't anything actually in the town besides the boats that did the daily boat tours around the island.  at one point we started walking down along the beach before realizing that the road didn't actually go anywhere.  we also saw O'Hamos, a taverna I wanted to eat at, but they were closed until 1, and we wanted to eat now.  so we turned around and walked back into town and ate a lovely lunch at Flivsos.   We took a nap, and then once evening arrived, we walked over to have dinner at Navagio, then we headed over to the boat docks to pick out a boat for our boat tour.  The one we picked out, Polco, said they weren't going out on Wednesday, but would sign us up for the Thursday boat, which we did, and put down a deposit, and went back to the hotel.  the lovely lady there helped us arrange a car for the next day so we could drive around the island and look at all the stuff.
