Day 12 - Here's Milos in your eye

we got up, our last morning on Sifnos, and I still had our car, so I took C&H up to see the church on the mountain overlooking Kamares.  It was beautiful as always, and we had the place to ourselves.

We drove back down, turned in the car, packed up our stuff and hiked down to meet our boat, which apparently had been canceled, but then before long, another boat showed up, going to the same place, so we took that one instead.  we arrived at the port in no time, and before you know it, we were chciking into the Portiani.  I had trouble finding our rental car, but eventually did, and packed everyone into it and off we went to the famous catacombs and roman theater.

famished, at this point we headed over to Mandraki, and Medusa, another favorite place to eat.

after lunch we went back to the hotel and C&H gathered there things and I drove them over to Sarakoniko to spend the afternoon. I drove around a bit and then went to get JW who had been having a siesta.

After a while, I went back to pick C&H up, who absolutely loved their time on the famous beach, then a short back to the hotel, clean up and walked down the beach to our favorite place to eat in all of Greece, O'Hamos!
