JW & I got up a little later than usual, knowing that C&H had gotten up earlier to make it to the Acropolis and explore all the cool stuff around it. We got coffee and tasty pasteries and walked over to the Acropolis, which by now was really filling up. After the Acropolis we wound our way down to the Plaka to do some light sight seeing, and also a little souviner shopping.
After that we walked the long walk towards the national museum. once we got there we devoured it. I was also supposed to find a museum guide book for a stranger on Matt Barretts page, but apparently they were out of them and had no idea when they would be getting any more.
from the museum we walked back to the Psiri and went straight to beer time for a beer and snack. After which we did a little more shopping, including a stop at John Kampanis's soap shop and various other places.
At one point I think we had a light lunch and drinks in the Plaka. We also found the hidden underground restaurant and the cool bar with all the bottles on it. We stopped by the Ouzo King's store for drinks and at some point saw a barbershop, where I had my haircut and a straight razor shave. It was fantastic.
After this we went to John Kampanis Rooster restaurant for a lovely dinner.
From there we headed back to the rooftop of the Attalos for a goodbye to Greece drink.
