this morning we all crammed into a cab, and the guy crammed our luggage in his trunk, and used a bungie cord to hold it down. nice.
then he sped along the dark streets of Athens towards the airport.
when we arrived, we went through the security checkpoint and at this point we said goodbye to C&H, as they were on a different flight than us. JW and I made it to our flight to London after checking in our goody-bag. The flight was meh, and from London, we had little time to get through checkpoints and etc before boarding our flight to Chicago.
Once we got to Chicago, the clusterfux that is the international terminal was in full swing, as 6 planes all landed at once and everybody was waiting in a very long line to get on a bus to get over to the main terminal where their connecting flights were. It was a bullshit mess and a 1/2. Once we did finally get to to the main terminal, our flight was nowhere to be seen. Seems our plane was not there. Then our plane was there and then it was not. Then we got on a plane, and it started going out to the runway and the engine died. So we went back to the gate, and waiting for another plane to show up. Then we switched gates, got on another plane and finally made it home, 4 hours after we were supposed to arrive. C&H had it much worse though, they flew into Dallas where there was a major storm system and they had to spend the night there. damn.
Greek 2k19 was in the books, and we were already plotting and planning Greek 2k21.
See you then.
