a hot day in Symi

we parked the rental car in the wrong lot and walked around the harbour to catch our ferry to Symi.  it was short and sweet and our hotel, the Nireus was 29 steps from where we got off.

 We had a beautiful view and it is a gorgeous hotel.  we then tried to walk the the Kali Strata, which. goes from Symi town to Ano Symi.  there are supposed to be 500 stairs and i think we walked most of them.  it was very hot and we missed a couple things, but then walked about halfway down and had a wonderful lunch at George and Maries.  we walked back to our room, took a nap, walked over to the very small town beach and had a drink, then had a wonderful dinner at Tholos before calling it a night.  tomorrow we are off to Kos.
