here in athens town

this morning we were in mykonos and now we're in athens.  what a whirlwind tour of greece this has been and now we start part two.  first we got up and had the best breakfast so far, then walked down down to the port and got on a boat to delos island, the former center of the world back in the old old BC.  it really is an incredible island and one that is absolutely covered in ruins.  we even hiked to the top of the hill, which was like, straight up.  i'll try to get the pictures up as soon as possible.  internet is shakey here.  then we had a quiet lunch at the port and hopped on another ferry to athens, which was late and got us here at 730.  our hotel is very cute and has a rooftop bar overlooking the acropolis.  thenwe walked down to a neighborhood taverna and had an absolutely delicious dinner.  now we're having a qiet drink on the roof top looking at where we'll be tomorrow.  see you then.
